What is Absenteeism?

A pattern of regularly staying away from work is called absenteeism. Absenteeism is habitual and the person who stays away from the work tries to do this regularly. It doesn’t include causes like illness or sickness, it’s more likely intentional. A company must hire replacement workers in a place that is absent. these replacement workers are often less efficient.

What Causes Absenteeism?

If a person is absent from the workplace on a regular basis that means the workplace isn’t suitable for him or he has poor morale. It’s also a sign of harassment or a poor work environment. These issues need to be solved before absenteeism increases to a significant level.
